Costs
Costs include preparation, administrative processing, telephone consultation, contact by e-mail and any reporting. In mediation it is common for the parties to each bear half of the costs, but it can also be agreed that one of the parties pays the costs (this is often the case in work-related conflicts). The parties determine where the mediations take place. In employment mediations, the sessions can take place at a neutral rented location or at the employer’s office(s). In intra-personal mediations, the sessions can take place at a neutral rented location.
Rental costs are borne by the parties. If parties are assisted by lawyers or wish to consult external advisors about the agreements made, these costs are also borne by the parties.
